I de-cluttered all of the book cases opening up the space and again de-personalizing it. I used some of the dining room furniture downstairs to add warmth. People tend to use basements as storage-bad move when selling!!! With the sparkling windows (and basement windows are usually the smallest and dirtiest) so they really benefit from this, all of the "stuff" neatly stored away people can see themselves comfortably living in this great basement space!!!
